Ladies and Gentlemen,
Since 2009, with the facilitation from the Association of Cities of Vietnam (ACVN) and the Asian Coalition for Housing Rights (ACHR), and with
the special support from the People’s Committee of Nghe An province and Vinh city, the community of the Huu Nghi shareholding company has implemented the project of new housing development from the old collective housing area. In October 2010, the housing project was inaugurated on World Habitat Day and it was evaluated as successful by national and international organizations.
Today, on behalf of the urban poor communities in the National Community Development Fund Network, chaired by the ACVN, I would like to share with you about the process and the outcomes of the project:
